Beauty Favorites, My Favorite Things

November 2014 Beauty Favorites

Surprisingly I haven’t stepped out as much this month, which means I haven’t been using and abusing my cosmetics. But here are some of my favorites for the month of November.

Sonia Kashuk | Brightening PowderSonia Kashuk is one of the most underrated cosmetics brand. I’m a serious fan of her brushes (review coming soon) but I also happen to have a few of her beauty products and her brightening powder ($10.39) is my absolute favorite. I use it under my eye, on my cupid’s bow, and under my brow arch. It’s very light and doesn’t emphasize pores. If you’ve been eyeing the NARS light reflecting powder ($35) but can’t afford it then this is the way to go. You can find Sonia Kashuk products at any target and online. Give her a try and I promise you won’t regret it.

Make Up For Ever | HD Pressed PowderI recently purchased Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder ($36) and it has been my go to finishing powder ever since. I won’t go on and on about how amazing it is since I already reviewed it but seriously my latest obsession.

Nars | Blush Bronze Duo - Sin & CasinoThe NARS Blush – Bronzer Duo ($42) in Sin/Casino is a fall must have. Needless to say I will probably need a new one after this season is over. Sin is the perfect plum and I love pairing it with dark lipsticks during this time of year.

MAC Cosmetics | DIva LipstickOh, Diva how I love you so. I saw a friend of mine with this beautiful shade and I just had to have it. I’m happy to say it doesn’t disappoint. Diva ($16) is perfection and a part of the permanent range by MAC. This is truly a must-have shade and pairs perfectly with Burgundy lipliner by MAC as well.

Beauty Blender - BlackAll hail the Beauty Blender gods. Seriously the best foundation applicator during these dry and cold months. It gives my foundation an added moisture and the finish is flawless. I wet my sponge before using it and it expands as well as helping me stretch my product. When I don’t wet it the sponge simply soaks my product up. So I would definitely recommend wetting your Beauty Blender before using. I have about five of these and although every now and then I have to lay one of these to sleep forever, I will forever have an endless supply. I buy mine from Makeup Geek at an incredible price. Only $23.99 for not one but TWO of these bad boys! They’re available in both pink and black.
