The shade Spice Girl is a “an iconic 90s brownish mauve” and a must have for all my ladies who love a deep brown lip. The name for this shade is perfection and a classic. I will say that I found this shade to be a little but drying but otherwise it performed like the there shades in this range. The formula is light, thin, creamy and long lasting. After it dries it’s a little bit tacky and it only transfers initially. It’s full coverage so one layer is enough and there are no streak marks or feathering. It smells great too!
I’ve read reviews about this formula being super dry and I’ve found that to be the exact opposite with every shade but this one (and Vixen). While the other shades were the most moisturizing liquid lipstick formula I’ve tried thus far, Spice Girl was actually a bit more drying than all the other shades in this range. I will say that there are definitely many other lipsticks that are a million times more drying than this one and it’s something I can live with. But if dry lips makes you want to run for the hills in search of a lip balm, you might want to stay away from this particular shade.
